Fishing in Romania

September is a time of change, children go to school and birds fly away to wintering grounds in warmer parts of the world. Our black stork flew away . He got a tiny September schoolbag from ornithologists cooperating with the Foundation, in which, as in a schoolbag, knowledge – knowledge about his journey around the world are stored. Every day we get information about where he is, how many kilometers he has flown, at what altitude he has soared, etc. These devices are safe for birds and have been used by ornithologists for years. Currently, our former ward is staying at the Danube Delta in Romania, where he probably eats tasty fish, gathering strength before further wandering. We wish him high flights, successful holidays in "warm countries" and a happy return to Poland .
